Life is Insane!

Hello oh ye few! I know it's been quite some time since I've posted to this blog and while I have been meaning to, it seems that life often gets in the way!

Those with kiddos understand that they take up a LOT of time and while that's usually fine, it is not, however, conducive to a relaunching atmosphere. So, with that in mind, I am working hard again at the relaunch.

However! Events in my personal life are going to push the relaunch even further back. In October, if all goes as planned, we are moving! And as of right now, I can't justify converting the wash room into an office or getting another building for that purpose here either. So, with that in mind, we have yet another tentative launch date...

Drum roll please....

March 2013! (Sounds like forever away, doesn't it? But let me assure you, it isn't. That's only 10 months! And months go by so quickly it's not even funny.)

So, here's to hoping!

Coffee… And lots of it!

Okay, so maybe I’m a bit over excited here, but… here’s a product sneak peek!

  • Signature Coffee Body Scrub : A luxurious blend of skin-pampering butters and gentle natural exfoliates coupled with the natural scent of coffee makes this body scrub one for the record books! A five star body scrub safe for every part of the body!

Our Signature Coffee Body Scrub contains an in-house blend of various butters designed and formulated to treat your skin as it is meant to be treated, gently and with care! What gives our Signature body scrub its name is the inclusion of Coffee Butter. Here is a bit of information about coffee butter, which is made from the extract of roasted coffee beans and blended with other oils into a stable format of a butter. “The market has recently been flooded with coffee based skin care products. Coffee extract is being used in slimming cosmetics due to the natural caffeine content of coffee beans. In addition, the extract has been found to be a powerful antioxidant. The high content of unsaponifiable matter in Coffee Oil has made it popular in cosmetics too. The oil offers natural protection from ultraviolet light and is becoming a popular ingredient in sunscreen products. Coffee Oil is rich in phytosterols which promote excellent moisture retention, quick penetration and good adherence in cosmetics.” – FNWL.

New Beginnings.

First, let me express how very excited I am to be back on track with Winter Garden Aromatics. This has been a long time coming and while I know that some of my old customers will remember me saying this, I say again, I am planning to relaunch and will do so this time. Everyone deals with personal issues that take over their lives and while we have had our fair share (not all bad but some were) that have, in the past, depleted our finances; we are finally in the position to take the relaunch of my humble home based business seriously.

I have been working on a budget list to determine exactly how much will be needed to relaunch WGA and I am also in the process of home remodels (kitchen and dinning room, because I don’t have enough to do.) In addition to the budget, I am also in the process of acquiring a portable building to house the business since our 1950’s bungalow is far from big enough to accommodate a family of now five AND a business. In short, once I finalize a budget and obtain a portable building, furnish and finish that building, WGA will host a virtual relaunch bonanza! I don’t have a time line set up just yet but I am working on that as well. I do know that time is of the essence due to the fact that my old supplier is about to discontinue my preferred wax! That is to be at the top of the list to insure that I can provide the same wax products that my customers are accustomed to. I realize it has been a few years and I may only see one or two returning customers but even if just one customer returns, I want them to be reminded why WGA was in business in the first place.

The next blog post will be a sneak peek at some of the products WGA is going to offer.

So with a smile on my face and a optimistic outlook, I say unto you, WGA is returning…
